The highly anticipated Huawei P10 smartphone has received Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification for North America. It is set to be launched on Feb. 26 at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, Spain, with the Huawei P10 Plus and a new Android Wear 2.0 powered watch.

According to the FCC listing, the Huawei P10 with the VTR-L29 model number is good to go in the U.S. and Canada. It will come with dual SIM support and is packed with a 3100mAh battery.

The Huawei P10 is expected to come with a 5.5-inch full high-definition display and a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. It is powered by the home-grown HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset with an octa-core core processing unit and the Mali-G71 graphics processing unit. It comes with 4GB of RAM and three variants of internal storage, namely, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB.

The Huawei P10 will have the dual 12-megapixel Leica-branded cameras on the back. It also carries an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for better selfies. It is equipped with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button on the front to verify the identity of the user and quickly unlock the unit for use.

The Huawei P10 will run on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. It also will carry volume and power keys on the right, as well as SIM and MicroSD slot on the left. It will still have a 3.5mm headphone jack and the USB-C port for charging and accessories.

The only difference between the Huawei P10 and the Huawei P10 Plus is the P10 comes with a flat screen and the P10 Plus with a dual-edge curved quad high-definition display. Other key hardware such as the chipset and camera setup will be the same as the standard P10.

The Huawei P10 will come in a variety of colors, including silver, gold, green, and purple.
