‘Pillars Of Eternity 2’: Campaign Hits $3 Million; New Feature Coming
The "Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire" crowdfunding campaign has been continuing to soar. According to reports, it has now made more than $3 million on Fig, the crowdfunding site.
Under 23 hours was all it took for "Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire" to reach its $1.1 million goal. Fig, a crowdfunding site where people can pledge for rewards or actually invest in a game and receive equity, details that the game has attracted over 27,000 backers as of this writing.

Funding is expected to be split almost evenly between investments add up to $1.4 million from those who are seeking impartiality in the project with Fig Game Shares and the traditional crowdfunding add up to $1.58 million. The campaign is said to conclude on February 24.
Developer Obsidian Entertainment said thanks to all of their fans, backers and investors for helping them raise their most amazing milestone of $3 million dollars on its update. As per the developer, the campaign has reportedly the most backers in Fig history.
Furthermore, Obsidian teased that it will reveal a "big announcement about a really important, super cool, and heretofore extremely hush-hush game feature" which is expected to be soon, GameSpot details. Additionally, they announced that, as a sign of their gratitude, they are going to include two new rewards to their various backer tiers. Both are expected to feature the unofficial pet mascot of "Pillars of Eternity", the Space Pig.
The game is said to preserve what people have enjoyed about the first "Pillars of Eternity." "Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire" is the direct sequel of the 2015 title that is reportedly a computer role-playing game. Polygon reports that the original was remarkable not only due to its length and narrative complexity, but because it is one of the biggest Kickstarter success stories as well.
The players will apparently see and feel true living cities and have more freedom to discover the open world in "Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire." Obsidian also teased that he game will be giving its players the ability to wholly define more and play the role they wish.
