Chase McCain Disguises in Many Characters to Save the Lego City
Warner Bros. announced today that "Lego City Undercover" will launch on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and PC on April 4, after being exclusive to Wii U for almost four years since its release in 2013. The updated version of the game will come out in Europe on April 7.
The newest trailer of the co-op mode is also released by Warner Bros. as a celebration to the release date reveal. The video shows how the main character Chase McCain goes undercover in order to defeat the bad guy Rex Fury and perhaps, save the Lego City. He puts on different disguises from burglar, astronaut, and kung Fu master to fire man, clown, and many more, which resulted to some silly situations.

It is worth noting that the Wii U original lacks the co-op feature due to the fact that the game depends on the Wii U game pad. This time around, it is confirmed that players can enjoy "Lego City Undercover" with a friend in tow.
According to Gamespot, the new console versions of "Lego City Undercover" were announced and the games were described as both re-release and remastered in November. There are still no confirmations whether the versions will be straight ports or if it will include improvements and content additions.
Meanwhile, a report in Kotaku says that the same scaling split-screen tech used by most co-op Lego games may also be utilized by "Lego City Undercover" basing on the new trailer. However, the new game will be based on the original story unlike many other video games of Lego.
Furthermore, a prequel to the game "The Chase Begins" is now available on Nintendo 3DS.
