Facebook Down Update (Pixabay)
Facebook was down three times in some areas in the world, particularly in Europe, in a week's time, or twice in 24 hours, a scenario that left users locked from their accounts. Amid this, they have aired their frustration.
On Friday, thousands of users complained about not being able to access their accounts. They reportedly tried changing their passwords several attempts, however, their efforts still appeared to be futile.

A report shared that the social networking site got fixed earlier on that day, but the situation eventually happened again later. Accordingly, some parts of the Facebook infrastructure failed to work properly. As a result, it went down.
With the experience, thousands of users took to Twitter to air their sentiments. Based on what they posted, they received "odd alerts" from Facebook, particularly getting logged out because of spam. However, when they tried to log in again, they were still not able to get through.
Some of them also experienced not getting any updates on their newsfeed, while others were not able to connect once they clicked on outside pages or links.
The Down Detector, a website that monitors outages among major networks, revealed that the Facebook problem affected Europe and a major portion of southeast England. Many users then commented to the post hinting about their utmost disappointment.
"Someone May Have Logged In To Your Account. In order to keep your information secure, we've locked your account," the message that reportedly displayed every time they logged in. "Before we can unlock it, please verify your identity and change your password. Your account will remain hidden until you complete this process."
