ZenFone Live (ZB501KL) is one of the newest smartphones Asus has offered to its customers. The features and specifications of the device have been revealed including the BeautyLive, a new built-n real-time beautification app.
The BeautyLive is one of Asus' ZenFone Live applications. The app offers real-time beautification which means it can enhance the image during video calls or streaming live videos using Facebook or YouTube Live. The display feature of the smartphone is 5-inch HD with 2.5D glass.

ZenFone Live is designed for customers who love to take selfies. The rear camera has 13 megapixels with autofocus, LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture. The front-facing camera, on the other hand, comes with a 5 megapixel and 1.4-micron pixel to capture soft light to improve skin tone for a better selfie result. It also supports wide-angle selfies.
The ZenFone Live also has dual MEMS microphones. This new feature reportedly enhances voice pick up and it can also remove background noise.
The new ZenFone Live runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon with a quad-core processor that has 2GB RAM. The smartphone comes with two options in terms of storage either 16GB or 32GB with an expandable memory up to 128GB micro SD. The device is powered by a 2,650mAh non-removable battery. Asus is also offering free 100GB of Google Drive's storage for two years.
Additional features and specifications of the ZenFone Live include proximity, ambient light sensor, and accelerator. It supports dual SIM slot and has USB 2.0 and Bluetooth. Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based ZenUI 3.5 is the operating system of the smartphone. There has been no confirmation from Asus yet on whether the device can be upgraded to the Android Nougat.
The ZenFone Live will be available in different colors like Rose Pick, Navy Black, and Shimmer Gold. However, there's still no confirmation from Asus about the price and availability of the device.
