New Nokia 3310 Release Date, Specs: New Colors, Affordable Price, Q2 Launch (YouTube)
Finally, the Nokia 3310 has made its comeback after making history as the best mobile phone in its time. People had been already expecting the revival of said mobile phone since the epidemic leakage of information across the board earlier this year. Nokia 3310 had been iconic and adored because of its durability and battery lifetime.

During the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Feb. 26, the revamped model of Nokia 3310 was launched by HMD Global. HMD president Florian Seiche said, "This is what consumers have been asking us for, and so we decided that we'd just do it and have some fun with it. That's the unique opportunity we have here at HMD with the Nokia brand."
The unveiled Nokia 3310 still sports its classic design, long battery life and a reimagined "Snake" game, The Guardian reported. Users can squeeze in 22 hours of talk time and can leave it for a month on standby without draining the battery.
But HMD put a twist to it by putting a slightly bigger colored screen and by offering it in bright colors. It also now has a 2-megapixel camera and it is powered by an updated version of its S30 software. According to BBC, Nokia 3310 also comes with a limited internet connection as it only relies on 2.5G connectivity. Users will also be able to plug in a headset and a microUSB cable to charge it.
The new Nokia 3310 will become available in the second quarter of the year (April to June 2017), but no specific release date has been announced yet. Although the 3310 is incomparable to smartphones of Apple and Samsung, it is foreseen to move in the market via nostalgia.
The Nokia 3310 will be available for $51 when launched. More information on its release date and retailers are expected to come soon.
