"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is getting ready to launch as Bioware has announced that the game has gone gold, meaning that it will be shipped off to retailers soon. The developer has already been exposing details prior in its blog posts and videos, such as information on creating profiles, favorites and squads. Information on weapons, combat, cover system and loadouts have already been revealed.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" Goes Gold

With the golden image of Pathfinder character, Bioware has confirmed that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" has already gone to "gold" status, Gamespot reported.  The developer has already completed the initial development on the highly anticipated action-RPG. This means that players can expect "Mass Effect: Andromeda" to hit its target release date in March.

What to Expect On "Mass Effect: Andromeda" Launch

The developer has already released the system requirements, specs and power needed for PC to be able to run "Mass Effect: Andromeda" at launch. However, Bioware has not yet confirmed what are the basic specs to pump out and has offered no explanation on its quality with the minimum settings. The players will then learn the specific details during the launch day. 

It is also announced by the publisher that EA Access subscribers can enjoy a 10-hour trial on March 16, 5 days prior to said launch day.  Subscribers of Origin Access, EA's PC equivalent of the Xbox One, will also be given such opportunity. 

Meanwhile, there is no Season Pass for "Mass Effect: Andromeda," as revealed in a previous report by the publication. This does not necessarily mean, though, that there will be no DLC aside from a multiplayer feature or that future content will be free. As the release is only four weeks away, players can expect additional details in the coming days.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be launched for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 21 in North America, and in Europe on March 23.
