According to reliable sources, the release date of the upcoming RPG game from Bandai Namco will be sometime this year. It is said that "Dragon Ball: Project Fusion" will be introduced first in Japan, and no other information yet if it will also be released outside Japan.
According to a press release, 2016 will be a good year for attempting new spins for video games, specially with "Dragon Ball's" formula. The release date still remains a mystery, as nothing could be known from the translation made by the 2ch forum.
Rumors is that, Goku, the well-known perfect physical warrior and the main character of "Dragon Ball Z," will be featured in "Dragon Ball: Project Fusion." No additional information was revealed, but as the title suggests, the game will be heavily themed on fusions. Players can see fusion dance performed by both Super Saiyan Goku and Super Saiyan Broly. It is anticipated that these two will fuse to form "Broku," or the like.
It is a known fact that Broly and Goku are enemies in the cartoon version of "Dragon Ball Z," but since the scanned image shows that they will fuse to form a new character, it is safe to suggest that the new video game will allow players to just fuse with anyone.
The prospect of the upcoming game seems to be a bright one, going by speculations. It is also speculated that the "Dragon Ball: Project Fusion" will be getting another off episode accompanying its release with Nintendo, focusing more on anime release for their IPs.
On other news, Bandai Namco is now taking applications from players for their creative ideas in coming up their own fusion characters. The winner of the contest will get a chance to win "Dragon Ball Z Heroes Double Pack" signed by Masako Nozawa.
