AMD Ryzen specs and price will come full circle during its anticipated release date tomorrow, March 2. In preparation for the Ryzen release, Intel has made some price adjustments on their CPU pricing.

The long wait will soon be over for gamers and enthusiasts, for Ryzen will finally be released tomorrow. Despite the nearing release period, its specs are still highly speculated through series of benchmark leaks. AMD itself has not fully confirmed the full specification and reach of their device.

In the past weeks, AMD has only confirmed general details of their device. The Sunnyvale-based semiconductor company hinted that maximum data throughput and instruction execution, along with optimal computing efficiency would be experienced by future users.

Having such goal in mind, upcoming AMD Ryzen owners will be enjoying in its maximum two threads per core, 8MB shared L3 cache. Furthermore, large unified L2 cache, micro-op cache, two AES units for security, and high-efficiency FinFET transistors is also to be expected, according to Tech Radar.

To simply put it, consumers will enjoy Ryzen's top tier in par with or even beyond the experience of using Intel's i7-6900K. The premium offering of AMD, Ryzen 7 1800X, comes with an 8-core/16-thread part clocked at 3.6-4.0GHz, with 16MB L3 cache and a 95W TDP as boasted by the company.

Meanwhile, preparation of Ryzen release is not only limited to consumers, for tech-giant like Intel likewise had its own preparation. Intel on their part has reportedly made some price changes, according to Forbes. The Core i7-7700K has been reduced for at least $80 from its original price.

Moreover, the Core i5-7600K has been adjusted to only $199 from its original $269 price. Lastly, AMD Ryzen 7's counterpart, the Core i7-6900K has been changed to $999.99.

The drastic price changes made by Intel indeed suggest the growing threat of Ryzen to their market dominance. However, it is still too early for AMD to celebrate; the positive response from the consumers is needed to cement their success this year.
