Xbox One Backwards Compatible Game List - Update January 2017
Last week, Microsoft added new titles on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list extending the feature to more than 300 titles already. "Assassin's Creed Rogue" finally joins the backwards compatible feature alongside the title "Gyromancer." Rogue was launched in 2014 on the three platforms mainly PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It was also the time that "Assassin's Creed Unity" is available on the PS4, PC and Xbox One console. "Assassin's Creed Rogue" has since generated more positive reviews than the Unity after launching.

It seem like a slow week for the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature, but it doesn't mean Microsoft hasn't poured out some incredible titles in the past. Joining the backwards compatible list are "Borderlands 2," "Space Invaders Infinity Gene," "The King of Fighters 2002," "Moon Diver," "Hitman Absolution" and "LEGO Indiana Jones." Incredibly in 2009 during the launch of Space Invaders, EuroGamer's contributor Simon Parkin rated the game as 9/10.
Meanwhile, at least 25 titles have been released for the Xbox One backwards compatibility list for 2017. The rest of these titles include "Stuntman Ignition," "Mad Tracks," "JUJU," "Shadows of the Damned," "Rocket Knight," "Alice: Madness Returns," "Midway Arcade origins," "Mutant Storm Empire," "TEKKEN 6," "Beat'n Groovy," "MEGA MAN 10," "MEGA MAN 9," "Battlefield 3," "Battlefield: Bad Co. 2," "Dragon Age Origins," "Ghostbusters," "Scrap Metal," "Strania" and "The Splatters."
Unfortunately, the highly anticipated "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" still fails to join the Xbox One backwards compatibility list. Nevertheless, some big new titles were already added on the feature mainly "Red Dead Redemption," "GTA IV," "The BioShock Trilogy" and the "MAss Effect Trilogy."
