Final Fantasy XV is an action-RPG video game developed by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

The latest details for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature a PC version demo at GDC 2017 and the development of the VR gameplay for the sequel.

It was during this year's Game Developers Conference that Square Enix teased that possibility of "Final Fantasy XV" in the PC platform. While, the game publisher has not official confirmed anything yet, game director Hajime Tabata once stated that he would love to have "Final Fantasy XV" be ported to PC, but it will take a year to develope it and launch the following year.

But it looks like PC users will get their wish very soon as Tabata and Square Enix presented a video demo of "Final Fantasy XV" on the PC using Nvidia's new GTZ 1080 Ti. The video showed "Final Fantasy XV" characters running through fields of grass, showing off Nvidia’s TurfEffects, as well as fluid and fur dynamics. Tabata stated that the PC demo is the current status of their game engine, Luminous Studio Pro, which is made possible by this collaboration with Gameworks.

When Tabata was asked directly if "Final Fantasy XV" will be coming to the PC platform, the latter just said "no comment" and explained that its a "tech test" with a teasing smiile, PCGamesN reported.

Could this mean that Square Enix is working on the PC version of "FFXV" within this year? PC users were adamant about having the game in the PC as they have created several petitions for it prior to its release in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

Meanwhile, Tabata announced updates on the VR content of "Final Fantasy XV" as he told Famitsu (via Gematsu) that the development is going nicely so far and it will be a matter of time before they have announce its release date.

"Final Fantasy XV" features a vast open world but players can’t roam the huge world freely with the car. When asked about any DLC plans other than announced DLC, Tabata stated that although there are no plans, he has one personal ambition to allow free roam with the car.

Square Enix will make plans for DLC episodes of "Final Fantasy XV" featuring standalone stories of Noctis's friends Gladiolus, Prompto and Ignis.

"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One.
