Microsoft has just announced its new Xbox Game Pass service which gives players unlimited access to both Xbox One and Xbox 360 games. Apart from paying for the Microsoft Xbox Live Games with Gold membership, players have a new way to get more games for their consoles without having to pay for every game. The new Xbox Game Pass service offers unlimited access to titles for a small subscription fee per month.

The Microsoft Games with Gold program only provides members a few titles every month while the new Xbox Game Pass service allows members to have access to the whole library with hundreds of games available.

According to reports, the subscription fee will cost only 9.99 USD per month and it is expected to be launched in spring. The new Xbox Game Pass program will be open to all Xbox One users and an Xbox Live Gold membership is not required. However, a couple of multiplayer games will require the Gold membership to be able to join online matches and modes.

The available titles will include Halo 5: Guardians, NBA 2K16 and more. New titles will be added every month and less popular games will be removed. Games will be directly downloaded to the console and the player can play offline without any connectivity or streaming issues.

An additional bonus of 20 percent discount for all games and 10 percent discount for add-ons such as DLCs, in-game purchases, and bonus packages will be given as well. Members of the Xbox Insider Program may test the Xbox Game Pass service alpha review soon.

Meanwhile, reports claimed that apart from the Xbox Games with Gold March 2017 line-up, Phil Spencer announced something which caught the interest of fans as well. The Xbox head has confirmed that the new games which will be included in the Xbox One backward compatibility program are worth the wait.

The confirmation came through Spencer's Twitter account, saying new Xbox 360 games will soon become compatible on Xbox One. However, he did not provide further details. Spencer also said that "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" will not be included in the upcoming upgrade. "I did see next week's list, looks good. No BO2 before I get bombarded with that," he said.
