Android 7.0 Nougat Update Now Rolling Out to Moto G4 Plus, Moto Z Play, Moto G4
The Motorola company has begun releasing the Android 7.0 Nougat update to the Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 in the United States.
The update will reportedly have the build number NPJ25.93-13 and will support basic features such as customizable quick settings and split-screen multitasking. In addition, the Android 7.0 Nougat update will support the enhanced Google keyboard together with improved notifications and window showing the latest applications.

The update brings the December 2016 Android security patch. According to the mobile operator, Republic Wireless, Motorola has begun the soak test for the Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 units.
Many reports suggest that the Android 7.0 Nougat update will be rolled out for all the devices if the phones gets tested successfully. The update will see several productivity changes, such as multi window view, new work mode toggle and quick switching between the apps.
It will support several usability features such as new emoji collection, enhanced system backup coverage, lock screen wallpaper, enhanced settings navigation and custom quick settings.
To install the update manually on the Motorola smartphones, users should follow these steps.
1. They should go to apps.
2. Select Settings and after that go to About Phone.
3. Users should then go to System updates and choose the Update Motorola software option.
If the update is available, a pop-up notification will come up. To get started with the Android Nougat update, users should click on the download link. Once the download is finished, they can proceed to install the Android update on their smartphone. The device will reboot itself once the installation is finished.
Meanwhile, according to a TechDroider report, the Canadian carriers, Rogers and Telus, are presently in the process of rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to the Moto Z Play.The update will carry the build number of NPN25.137-24-1.
