"We've seen strong momentum with Chromebooks worldwide, and today we reached a new milestone: Leading education analyst Futuresource has announced Chromebooks are the top-selling device across laptops and tablets for schools in Sweden. As we build out a new generation of Chromebooks with a world of apps for education, we are excited to see global educators lead this growth," a statement from Ross Mahon, Nordics Regional Manager, Google for Education, said.
Just like the Acer and ASUS Chromebooks which were recently announced, the new HP Chromebook x360 11 G1 is geared towards education. It is a rugged, 360-degree convertible laptop, designed to be used as a workbook or a tablet. The device features USB Type-C charging and a front-facing camera. The highlight of this Chromebook is an optional stylus which is designed for writing and drawing and other activities in school. However, the full specifications and other features of the HP Chromebook x360 have not yet been revealed. It is still unclear whether the HP Chromebook x360 would have an Apollo Lake Chipset or Braswell, but Google promises that these Chromebooks would be user-friendly and multifunctional with a low cost.
