With the AMD Ryzen warmly welcomed by the tech community; it seems like the company will have a great year. (YouTube)
AMD Ryzen specs, price, and release have attracted many consumers, including Intel fans. With Ryzen's reasonable price and timely release date, some surveys online indicate that the device had overtaken Intel Kabylake and Intel Cannonlake.
According to a survey conducted by Kit Guru, out of more than 1,000 respondents, 60 percent of them preferred AMD Ryzen. One of the reasons highlighted in the survey result is the value of the Ryzen compared to Intel's flagship.

In particular, Ryzen 7 1800X is attracting customers because of its excellent rendering, media conversion, video encoding, file archival, mathematical computation, and cryptographic operations. On top the performance boost of the Zen-based architecture introduced by AMD, the price of the device in retail is only £489.99 ($601). This makes it even more attractive compared to Intel's £1000 ($1227) price point.
Based on the survey, 26 percent of the respondents said they have already purchased the next-gen AMD CPU, while 30 percent of the responded said they planned to order it soon. However, some respondents were not convinced by the rise of Ryzen in the market. One of the reasons cited was the gaming performance of the device.
In response to the criticism and comments against Ryzen's gaming performance, AMD CEO Lisa Su vowed to improve the CPU. Gamers should expect that "gaming performance will only get better with time as the developers have more time with 'Zen," Hot Hardware quoted Dr. Su saying.
AMD has seen a major decline in customers in recent years. Despite the failed attempts in the past, the company still strives to extend its reach and improve its technology. With the AMD Ryzen warmly welcomed by the tech community; it seems like the company will have a great year.
