Samsung Galaxy S8
Rumors had claimed that Samsung would be announcing the Galaxy S8 launch date and it would be also revealing its flagship behind closed doors to a select few at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. The Galaxy S8 unveil date was announced as March 29 at MWC 2017 and the select few who viewed have reportedly said that it is an impressive phone.

According to The Korea Herald, the Seoul-based company had brought a prototype of Galaxy S8 at Barcelona, Spain. At the Hotel Porta Fira which is located quite close to MWC 2017 venue, it had reportedly organized demonstration rooms to showcased the smartphone privately to a group of companies and mobile carriers.
It had built a temporary wall to prevent general public from viewing the upcoming flagship. Only those who had received special invitation from present at the temporary demonstration room, Sam Mobile reported.
It is said that those who were present at the Galaxy S8 unveil have said that the Galaxy S8 is a "very impressive" device. However, no one has leaked any information on the specifications and features of the Galaxy S8 from the private unveiling of the phone.
The Seoul-based firm has previously employed the strategy of showing its flagship privately to investors and local media not only to build hype around the device but also to urge partnering companies to invest in its technologies.
Rumors have it that the Galaxy S8 would be available on pre-orders from April 10 and its shipping will begin on April 21. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ are pegged to arrive with dual-edge screen of sizes of 5.8 inches and 6.2 inches, Both smartphones will be driven by Snapdragon 835 and 4 GB of RAM. It is said that the S8 would include a 3,000 mAh battery whereas the S8+ will come with 3,500 mAh battery.
