The Nintendo Switch will likely get a Pokemon game surprise soon. (YouTube)
GizmoSlip performed the first-ever Nintendo Switch Drop test, revealing that the gadget is resistant to physical damage unless you drop it multiple times.
A series of Switch drop tests was performed from a five-foot level in a parking lot to check the item's durability. This kind of experiment is typically conducted on less than on3 kilogram mobile products to evaluate their fragility and resilience, especially when exposed to repetitive impacts by the end user.

It was noted that both the screen and bottom suffered from only scratches but not cracks. The experimenter also showed that the "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" kept playing as the device dribbled several times.
The experiment that lasted for nine minutes showed that after 11 drops on concrete either vertically, face up or face down, the device finally broke off with its screen slightly detached from the console. The host added that with the last fall it stopped turning on. "If you drop your device 11 times from five feet on concrete, you are very clumsy," GizmoSlip said.
Nintendo Switch is currently being sold on the market for $299.
