Jailbreaking Still Possible So Downgrade Now from iOS 10.3 and 10.2.1 – Here’s How
Luca Todesco has committed to finalize his Yalu iOS 10.2 jailbreak soon and it appears that the tool will be the last of its kind. Reports said following the release of iOS 10.3, now on beta 4, cracking Apple's mobile OS will prove even more impossible.
Apple is winning the war against jailbreak makers and the proofs seen so far were solid. Pangu and TaiG were missing in action and the only working solution on iOS 10 was that from Todesco, and it was far from perfect. According to App Informers, "the tool was in such bad shape with bugs and issues that people just gave up and said that the iOS 10.2 tool he put together was useless."

It was apparent that with the iOS 10 release, jailbreaking as fans know it was never the same. The same report said Apple just got smarter with the use of the new File System APFS. Essentially, iOS 10 employs a robust barrier in the File System APFS that prevents a breach into the iOS Application Archive or IPA files. Simply put, Apple has slammed door on any jailbreak attempts and any attempts to unlock the software have so far proved unsuccessful.
More so, the same applies when version 10.3 is unleashed as it is believed that the build will be a rock-solid shell. Even Todesco has conceded that after 10.2, jailbreaking the succeeding versions will be next to impossible. In fact, the hacker recently announced that as soon as his work on Yalu102 jailbreak is completed he will exit the public jailbreaking scene.
But make no mistake, the same Todesco fellow will finish what he has started and provide a Yalu jailbreak that is more usable and far stable than its current form. As noted by MobiPicker in a report, the Italian dev has reiterated his earlier advisory that jailbreak fans looking to use the Yalu JB tool in its final build will need to save their .SHSH2 blobs on version 10.2.
Possibly in the next few weeks, a finalized iOS 10.2 jailbreak will be released and most likely coming from Luca Todesco. Then after that, it will be an extended drought for the jailbreak community as iOS 10.3 and iOS 11 are unlikely to be fully jailbroken following their deployments.
