According to latest reports, HTC devices that will receive the new Marshmallow update are HTC Desire 816, HTC Desire 820, HTC Desire 826, HTC Butterfly 3, HTC One M8 Eye, HTC One E8, HTC One ME, HTC One E9, HTC One M8, HTC One E9+ and HTC One M9+.
Unfortunately, HTC One M7 will not get the new Android Marshmallow update.
The official rollout of Android is 3 months old, meaning that the electronics manufacturer HTC is still within their limits for putting out Android Marshmallow to the HTC One M8 and HTC One M9 in Q1 of this year and keep their word.
There has been times when the company has been a few days short of the promise; however, fortunately, this will not happen in 2016.
Meanwhile, HTC has revealed a new device with the One X9. It is anticipated that the mobile phone will have Android Marshmallow right out of the box just like the HTC One A9, Ubergizmo reported.
The device has a MediaTex X10 octacore processor and 3GB RAM and sports 5.5 inch full HD 1080p display. The One X9 has a 3,000mAh battery and a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera. Also, the device has 32GB onboard storage.
