Dave Filoni, Star Wars' executive producer, has repeatedly said that he has a lot of stories to reveal with the crew of the Ghost, starting from Sabine Wren's story which is about the fight for the freedom of the Mandolorians.
He also spoke about the return of a Mando from Star Wars:The Clone Wars. Filoni emphasized that he made it a point to ensure that all the stories that they had for Star Wars had fulfilling conclusions such as the stories of the rest of the core crew namely: Ezra, Hera, and Zeb.
Filoni added that he would love to immediately jump into the story of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which would narrate the account of the Battle of Scarif from Hera
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Start Wars Rebels Season 3 has only four weeks left and would end this month. The rebel alliance leader, Mon Mothma, is this week's highlight. Next week's episode centers on the droids, AP-4 and Chopper.
Star Wars Rebels airs Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on Disney XD, and follows the adventures of Hera (Vanessa Marshall), Sabine (Tiya Sircar), Zeb (Steve Blum), and the Jedi Kanan (Freddie Prinze, Jr.) and Ezra (Taylor Gray).
It revolves around a small crew on a quest to find their way in the nascent Rebel Alliance which foreshadows the events of Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. The in-canon series aids to link the worlds of the earlier animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which was produced by executives Simon Kinberg and Dave Filoni. The show has had guest appearances so far from characters like Lando Calrissian, Ahsoka Tano, Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Leia Organa, Wedge Antilles, and more.
