Samsung's new upcoming phone, the Galaxy J7 (2017) has been in rumors for quite some time. Recently, the device was also spotted at the Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA) bearing the serial number SM-J730.

The Galaxy J7 had earlier cleared the Bluetooth certification. It has now passed through the Wi-Fi certification that indicates the phone is likely to release shortly in the U.S. The Wi-Fi listing shows the device is likely to come loaded with the Android 7.0 Nougat. According to previous leaks, Samsung's unannounced phone is rumored to come with the below mentioned specifications.

The Galaxy J7 is expected to sport a Super AMOLED 5.5-inch display with a full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1080 pixels. It is likely to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. The device is pegged to come packed with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage. It is said to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera.

The phone is rumored to retail by different names based on the carriers it will be available with. Verizon is likely to launch the phone under the name Samsung Galaxy J7V on April 10, Phone Arena reported. The device will be known as Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro with Tracfone carrier, while the AT&T and the U.S. Cellular will be also selling the Galaxy J7 (2017). The names of the smartphone have not been disclosed yet by these carriers,GSMArena reported.

At the end of this month, Samsung is going to officially announce the Galaxy S8 and its other variant the Galaxy S8 Plus. The specification of the S8 models have also been revealed.The Galaxy S8 smartphone is expected to feature a S-AMOLED screen of 5.8 inches while the Galaxy S8 Plus is rumored to sport a S-AMOLED display of 6.2 inches. It is said to feature Snapdragon 835 chipset in the U.S. and come equipped with Exynos 8895 chipset for other regions.

The smartphones are speculated to come packed with a 4 GB of RAM and is rumored to come in storages of 64 GB and 128 GB. Both the devices are pegged to come loaded with the Android 7.0 Nougat. Both phones are pegged to come with rear cameras of 12-megapixel camera and front-facing shooters of 8-megapixel. The Galaxy S8 is said to boast a 3,000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S8+ will carry a 3,500 mAh capacity battery.
