Apple Will Release iPhone 5e In March 2016
A leaked online video and set of photos may have provided Apple fans with a sneak peek of what the next iPhone model will look like. From what it looks, based on the leaked photo and video, the upcoming iPhone model looks oddly similar to the iPhone 5.
While several websites dedicated to all things Apple are basking about the idea that the leaked photos and videos belong to the widely rumored iPhone 6c, 9to5Mac reported that the new smartphone from Apple is in fact the iPhone 5se. The online media outlet added that the "se" suffix refers to either "special edition" or "enhanced" version.

The leaks were first posted on the One More Thing forum. As for those users who are skeptical about the authenticity of the leaks, One More Thing has had several credible leaks in the past. Among these are the leak regarding the design of the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Air.
If the leaked photos and video are legit, the upcoming iPhone 5se will stand as a successor to the iPhone 5, which was released in 2013. Since it is a "special edition" model, reports claim that it will sport upgraded hardware and may even run on the latest version of iOS. The iPhone 5se is rumored to combine the classic design of the iPhone together with modern and high-end technologies from Apple.
Apple's latest flagship devices, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, sport displays of 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch, respectively. Tech analysts beckon that a 4-inch iPhone model will appeal to users who want all the top of the line technologies from Apple, only this time on a more compact form.
Rumors claim that the iPhone 5se will sport the same curved glass edges, NFC sensor, barometer sensor, the 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.2-megapixel front camera, all of which are integrated into the iPhone 6.
However, there is one feature that did not make it to the list and that is the 3D Touch. As for its release date, rumors claim that the iPhone 5se will make its debut in March, alongside the second generation Apple Watch.
