The two special events that happened are the Classic Draft Challenge and the Grand Draft Challenge. The Classic Draft Challenge had a free entry and followed the usual 10 Gems entry fee afterward. The Grand Draft Challenge, on the other hand, cost 100 Gems to join. The mechanics were the same as before. However, it is still unknown whether or not a team battle update will be released.
The news came from a leaked image from one of the game developers. There is still no conclusive information as to what the image means. It is not complete despite it being released on the Clash Royale Forum. It may simply be a ploy to keep players excited. During the game anniversary day, the game developers thanked players for their continued support. They tweeted and shared a video of an exploding cake.
The March update is said to come with the Queen Archer, a new Goblin Gun, an Elite Barbarian Hut and a Dragon. The Elite Barbarian Hut and the Goblin Gun will be perfect for spawn decks because both generate units on the field. The rare card Goblin Gun is said to shoot Goblins every one and a half seconds and cost four elixirs to put on the field. Meanwhile, the Elite Barbarian Hut will spawn Elite Barbarians and cost nine elixirs to summon. The card Dragon, on the other hand, will be like the Baby Dragon card but it will be a lot more durable and powerful. The Dragon will cost six elixirs to put on the field and cause splash damage when used. The Queen Archer will be the same as the Princess card but with a shorter range than the latter. It will cost five elixirs to summon.
