The latest updates for "Injustice 2" will feature a new trailer streamed online and character skins based on CW Network DC TV series.
NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Games streamed the new story trailer for "Injustice 2" titled "Shattered Alliances Part 2," which focuses on Batman and his Insurgency. The trailer starts with Batman as Bruce Wayne giving a speech as to how his former friend-turned enemy Superman became a fallen hero, while the latter visits him in his red sun prison.

Batman begins to assemble a new team of heroes consisting of Black Canary, Harley Quinn, The Flash, Green Arrow and Green Lantern, ComingSoon reported. Both Green Lantern and The Flash join Batman's side as they try to redeem themselves as heroes in "Injustice 2," after the events of the first game.
The trailer also featured Gorilla Grodd leading the Society (Bane, Cheetah, Catwoman, Captain Cold) and an army of Gorillas in Gorilla City, while The Flash fights Reverese-Flash in a highway. The video ends with both Batman and Superman clashing each other hinting another battle between the two.
In other news, it seems that the premier skins for "Injustice 2" have been leaked online and three of them are based from the "Supergirl", "The Flash" and "Arrow" series in the CW Network.
YouTube username Rafael Lorenzo made a video of a list of possible upcoming characters, skins and DLC for "Injustice 2". For the premiere skins will include the CW Network version of The Flash, Green Arrow and Supergirl, while the other skins are revealed to be Black Siren, Nightwing, Batwoman, Red Arrow, Bizarro, Wild Cat, Mr. Freeze, Shazam, Deathstorm, Black Beetle, Ocean Master, Blackfire and Arkham Knight.
The list also revealed the remaining playable characters in the roster such as Red Hood, Firestorm, Starfire, Black Adam, Beast Boy, The Comedian, John Constantine and Vixen. Spawn and Sub-Zero are hinted as the guest characters outside of "Injustice 2".
While the validity of the information is still unknown, NetherRealm Studios will be announcing a new character gameplay trailer on Monday, as YouTube Channel UpUpDownDown will be the first to stream the video during their visit to the studio, IDigital Times reported.
"Injustice 2" will launch on May 16 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
