Nintendo fans will likely see the addition of the immensely popular "Super Smash Bros." to Nintendo Switch in the near future. This possibility is hinted by Nintendo America President Reggie Fils-Aime recently.
During a Facebook interview with Katie Linendoll, Fils-Aime did not set anything in stone regarding the highly fan-requested release of "Super Smash Bros." to the Nintendo Switch. Rather, he hinted that there's a high chance it will eventually happen.

He cited the fact that from a game development's perspective, Nintendo shares a philosophy to launch one of its classic franchises to each of the company's gaming platforms.
"There's going to be one great Super Mario experience, one great Zelda," Fils-Aime said. He went on to say that Switch gamers should look forward to getting their hands on "Super Mario Bros. some time in the future.
The big boss at Nintendo of America reiterated that despite an official announcement at this time, there was no plan to confirm the release date for "Super Smash Bros." He stated that Nintendo understands how fans love these video games. He then invited everyone to be on the lookout for any morsel of information soon.
With regard to a possible release of another big title "Animal Crossing" coming to the hybrid console, Fils-Aime said, "we'll see." He noted that the game is also a key franchise for Nintendo.
Apparently, this is not the first time that the CEO has hinted about the release of "Super Smash Bros." to Nintendo Switch. He teased about the same several months back. Other video games confirmed to arrive this year on Nintendo's latest console later include "Splatoon 2," "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," "Arms," "Fast RMX," "Fire Emblem Warriors," "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe," and a whole lot more.
