"Project CARS 2" will have 12K resolution, full VR support, revamped controller pad handling system, and LiveTrack 3.0 and it will surely impress fans with its dynamic road surface transitions. Also, Slightly Mad Studios also recently unveiled a sneak peek at the McLaren 720S.
The next title in Bandai Namco's motorsport racing simulator video game is building on the success of the first game. In their partnership with Slightly Mad Studios, the game will feature more than 170 licensed cars from the famous brands, boasting the largest track roster that will ever happen on any video racing game, having a 12K resolution for PC and full VR support.

The controller handling system that a lot of players complained about from the original game is now fully revamped. Players can go straight smoothly in the game without encountering any issues.
The developer has also focused on eSports and making it an important feature in "Project CARS 2." There will be key functionality on competitive ranking, streaming, and news. The player builds his reputation on the time spent on racing against other players, which is based on a Seniority system, Racecraft, and Success.
The Seniority system will allow players to be identified with a unique title that will separate them from the newbies and the veterans. The players' Racecraft ranking is one of the most important stats in the new game, as this will ascertain the team mate and the competition. As the player becomes professional in driving, the more their Racecraft ranking steps up.
The Success system appears to be the most complex statistic from the three; it will quantify the length of the race. Also, the Competitive Racing License will show players how skilled they are at the game.
"Project CARS 2" is described as "the next evolution in the award-winning racing series" that will deliver the "Ultimate Driver Journey" experience. It is scheduled to be launched later this year for PS4 Xbox One and PC. Enjoy watching the McLaren 720S teaser below.
