THE SECRET YOU'VE WAITED FOR! Black Ops 2 Backwards Compatibility Announcement NOT XBOX'S FAULT
For more than a year now, Microsoft launched one of the Xbox's best feature yet, the Xbox One backwards compatibility. This feature aims to integrate Xbox 360 games to the current gen Xbox One console. Players who previously owned the titles on the Xbox 360 platform don't need to re download the game again on the Xbox One; it will automatically appear on the Xbox One Store.

Now, the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature gained popularity after Microsoft was able to transfer some of the triple A titles to Xbox One. That includes the "Red Dead Redemption," "Grand Theft Auto IV," the "BioShock Trilogy," the "Mass Effect Trilogy," "Skate 3" and many more. At least twice a month, new titles are being announced on Xbox's Larry Hryb's twitter account also known as Major Nelson.
But not all titles that has been voted by players have arrived on the feature. In fact, the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" remained on the number 1 spot but haven't been around the list until now. The reason why players haven't seen their favorite titles on the backwards compatibility is the fact that Microsoft needs licensing in order to integrate the titles.
It means that, it is up to the developer of the game whether they want their respective games t migrate to the Xbox One or stay in the Xbox 360 platform. The Xbox One backwards compatibility feature despite being free to fans is a big budget to developers when they try to develop it again to fit on the Xbox One platform. That is why, not all of your favorite games are easily transferred.
Microsoft continues to add new titles on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature, make sure to check on the latest updated list to see whether your game has arrived already.
