Akuma will play a very vital role in "Tekken 7's" storyline as he tries to uphold Kazumi Mishima's request to kill his husband, Heihachi in order to pay his debt to her. Akuma will have the same "Street Fighter" gameplay style in "Tekken 7" even having an EX Gauge as opposed to the Rage Art System.
The arcade version of "Tekken 7" feature Kazumi as the final boss character in game, even transforming in her Devil Gene form in the second round. Perhaps this gameplay video may hint that "Tekken 7" may feature two boss battles, were in Akuma could be a secret boss fight during the sequel's arcade mode.
In other news, Bandai Namco Entertainment showcased new customization items for each character in "Tekken 7."
These items include a shotgun, space shuttle, steel chair, drone, bazooka, monkey and even a volcano, EventHubs reported. Past "Tekken" games revealed that customization items can have an effect on the character, using it for offense against their opponents.
Previous reports revealed that game producer Katsuhiro Harada gave his opinions on "Tekken 7" having cross-platform gameplay, as he stated that it is not the developers decision to incorporate the feature.
Rather it is up to the console manufacturers, Sony and Microsoft if they want "Tekken 7" to have cross-platforms features in the PS4 and Xbox One.
Harada added that the cross-platform feature will not be a problem to both consoles. However, when it comes to the PC platform, Harada explained that there might be security risk, as PC users can take advantage of other players on the console, "cheating" their way into winning online matches.- check comments made
The risks of being hacked and data mining could jeopardize "Tekken 7" itself and Bandai Namco Entertainment will not hesitate to go through with the plan.
"Tekken 7" will launch on June 2 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
