THE SECRET YOU'VE WAITED FOR! Black Ops 2 Backwards Compatibility Announcement NOT XBOX'S FAULT
It's all too easy and tempting to hope that the next title in the Xbox One backwards compatibility list is "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2." Unfortunately, the game never returned to the list. Few months ago, the game experienced the same incident as the "Red Dead Redemption" when they were featured on the backwards compatibility list only to be pulled out later on.

The difference between the two is that, "Red Dead Redemption" when it was mistakenly listed on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature was even playable. The "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" on the other hand was not. Nevertheless, they both teased fans and leave the feature even before they become totally playable.
Today, the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" remains the top most requested game on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature. The "Red Dead Redemption" on the other hand finally made it to the feature after months of waiting. The question remains whether the COD title will arrive in the feature and the answer is, "possibly."
According to Microsoft, they need the proper licensing in order to convert an Xbox 360 game to the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature. Without the license, it's impossible to transfer games as some developers prefer to keep their games on the old platform. Plus, the funding needed in order to update the game comes at a staggering amount.
Meanwhile, the latest titles that arrived on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature include "Cars 2: The Video Game," "Dead Rising 2: Case West," "Dead Rising 2: Case Zero" and "Meet the Robinsons."
Meanwhile, the next Xbox One exclusive games for 2017 include "State of Decay 2," "Sea of Thieves," "Halo Wars 2," "Cuphead" and Ashen." next week, we hope for new entries on the backwards compatibility feature so make sure to check us back again.
