According to the Air Force's 45th Weather Squadron, Thursday's forecast has a 90 percent chance of favorable weather conditions.
Florida Today reported that the launch attempt on Tuesday was aborted while the rocket was being fueled, with just 30 minutes remaining before the launch window opened at 1:34 a,m.
EchosStar XXIII will provide broadcast services for Brazil. A tweet from SpaceX chief executive officer Elon Musk in January explained that the launch would not include a rocket landing post-takeoff simply because Echostar XXIII is a particularly heavy satellite weighing 5,500 kg. This means Falcon 9 will require a lot of fuel for the launch, leaving little to perform a rocket landing. It will orbit about 22,000 miles above the Earth's surface.
The mission is the second to be launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)'s historic pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center.
However, to protect government property at the launch center, SpaceX is required to carry four times more liability insurance coverage amounting to $63 million, compared to the $13 million it had while launching from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral.
