With less than one month before the Star Wars Celebration, fans who are expecting information about "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" may get its first trailer and release date news at the event. EA is confirmed to appear at the annual gathering to showcase its latest SW projects.
The Senior Video and Media Director/Editor at DICE, Randy Evans has recently tweeted that he is working on a big new project, which sounds like "Star Wars: Battlefront 2." "Today we are off to do some mocap for a very big upcoming trailer. Luke Matthews was seen pondering the ways of the force", Evans tweeted.

While this is not a direct confirmation about the sequel in the original Battlefront title, the report noted that Evans seemingly has given enough information to point their fans to that direction. Also, the main focus on the event is expected to be on the upcoming film "Star Wars: The Last Jedi", Electronic Arts will likely reveal the release date for "Star Wars: Battlefront 2".
For those who remember, EA announced the release date of the game during the Star Wars Celebration in 2015. This time, fans are also hoping to hear a release date and see a reveal trailer for the game's sequel.
The Star Wars Celebration for this year takes place on April 13 to 16 and according to a post from Starwars.com, EA will be showing off a bunch of new projects. The post confirmed that EA, makers of "Star Wars: Battlefront", "Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes" and "Star Wars: The Old Republic", will be joining the annual event to reveal what "Star Wars" projects it's brewing this 2017.
There are also other "Star Wars" gaming projects that will be shown off at the celebrations. These include the latest "Star Wars" mobile games, "Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes", "Star Wars: Force" Collection and "Star Wars: Pinball".
