Many stores have experienced a shortage of supply of the Nintendo Switch. But recently, stocks have been made available in regions like the UK and North America. YouTube)
The Nintendo Switch hit a record sale of 1.5 million units in just two weeks and now, the company is looking forward the 2 million mark by the end of March. Nevermind that the much anticipated gaming platform suffered glitches during and after launching, it is selling like pancakes and more people are willing to spend their money on the Nintendo product.

According to VG24/7, a combined statistics recorded by analyst firm Superdata from Famitsu and GFK's retail tracking services revealed that at least 500,000 of the units sold were in the U.S region. At least 100,000 Nintendo Switch units were sold in France and another 360,000 units were sold in Japan. In the UK alone, at least 85,000 Switch units were sold to this day.
Given the massive numbers of units sold, it's possible that Nintendo's 2 million target will be achieved by the end of the month. In October 2016, Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima during a financial briefing said, they aim to sell at least 2 million Nintendo Switch units before the fiscal year ends. Now, it looks like they are holding to that dream.
The Nintendo Switch's success can also be taken from the successful launching of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." Nevertheless, the launching of the Switch did not run smoothly after customers complained about several glitches.
While others were concerned about their pre ordered devices not arriving on the said date, others were complaining about blue and orange screen (an indication of hardware issue according to reports.) The rest include the Nintendo Switch lagging after layers downloaded the first day patch of the "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."
We have to find at the end of the month whether Nintendo is able to reach the 2 million goal for the fiscal year. If you want to know more about this news, make sure to check us back.
