Waze now allows travelers to access Spotify while on the move. (YouTube)
Waze and Spotify have partnered and can now be accessed by opening either one of them. Of course, Spotify and Waze must be properly installed on the device.
Waze now allows travelers to access Spotify while on the move. So how does it work? Users who open Waze will notice the Spotify icon located on top of the screen. Tapping the app while Waze is open will direct the user to access music on Spotify.

The update works vice versa. If Spotify is open, the Waze icon can be seen on top of the screen. Currently, the update is only available to Android devices. The decision to integrate Waze and Spotify will appeal to users who cannot live without the two major applications.
Waze currently caters to more than 50 million users and Spotify has a record registered users of more than 100 million music lovers.
An official statement on the partnership between Waze and Spotify is featured on the latter's official website, which you can view here.
