According to the Attack of the Fanboy, one of the "Street Fighter V" Season 2 balance patch includes a buff for weaker characters. This is opposed to the usual practice of nerfing the stronger characters, hence the interesting fight scenes in Season 2. The development team of the game also explained the new moves and capacity of each character buff and how they will be able to affect the overall gameplay.
The characters involved in the "Street Fighter V" Season 2 update include Alex, Akuma, Balrog, Birdie, Cammy, Chun-Li, Dhalsim, F.A.N.G, Guile, Ibuki, Juri, Ken, Laura, Nash, Necalli, Rashid, Ryu, Urien, Vega, and Zangief.
Meanwhile, the complete Season 2 update is being featured on the Capcom official website. Some of the "Street Fighter V" Season 2 balance update includes V-Reversal, Throw Escape, Hold frames for charge moves, invincible "Shoryuken" attacks, and individual character adjustments.
The developer's comment on the Shoryuken attack says, "Invincibility on Shoryuken attacks has been a polarizing topic. For players who learned how to use these attacks in Season 1 as an anti-air or counter attack, this change has severely affected their success with their favorite character."
