The new dinosaurs and Tek Tier gear did not arrive on Wednesday, with the developer stating, "An update on both consoles. Xbox Patch will be around 20GB not 30GB, so that's some good news there."
Studio Wildcard also made it clear that the "ARK: Survival Evolved" update on Xbox One will only be 20GB. The update will replace old file, so it will not take up any additional space of the console's hard drive. Here are notes for the patch on PS4 (update v505), which is also the same with Xbox One (update v751) and PC (update v255).
New Dinosaurs
As expected, the new update will bring new dinosaurs to the game. There are four dinos, namely Thylacoleo, Ammonite, Electrophorus and Microraptor.
The Thylacoleo are carnivorous creatures dinos that are commonly found in trees, where players can ride them and perfect for ambushes and exploring forests. The Ammonites on the other hand are mollusks that can be gathered from the sea for its shell and bile.
The Electrophorus is a carnivorous eel that lives in the water. It can be domesticated and can be used to take large water creatures. The Microraptor dino is a small carnivorous raptor that can dash to take down riders.
Tek Tier
The new update also adds three new structures to build in the Tek Tie. These are Tek Tileset, Tek Doors and Tek Forcefield which is expected to better than the previous ones.
The update will also add four new hairstyles, hairstyles and 30 new Explorer Notes. It also rebalanced the C4 and Rocket Launcher. Full notes on the patch can accessed via "Ark: Survival Evolved" official forum page.
"ARK: Survival Evolved" is available on PS4, Xbox One, OS X, Linux and PC. The next update v256 for PC is expected to arrive on March 29.
