According to the Attack of the Fanboy, the most notable issue caused by the Xbox Live outage is digital games not working at all. Apparently, players who brought their games online were locked out of the service. With no option to play games otherwise, they remain patient until Microsoft fixes the problem.

Meanwhile, the support page of the Xbox Live feature has pointed out another problem, which they also think is the main issue. Apparently, there are difficulties in simply browsing the Xbox Live page. Purchased games online cannot be downloaded and worst, those that were already downloaded cannot be played on the platform.

On Twitter, Microsoft confirmed that it has determined the cause of the problem and a team is working to fix it. Looking through the Xbox Live issue, it is the Purchase and Content Usage that is most affected by the glitch. Nevertheless, the service is expected to return within the day.
