A video showing Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos having fun piloting a giant robot during Amazon's secret annual robotics event has been released on Twitter.
According to The Verge, an attendee to Amazon's MARS - an annual, invite-only conference and dedicated to artificial intelligence, home automation, space exploration machine learning, and robotics - posted a video of the world's third richest man behind the 13-foot-tall robot that bears a striking resemblance to the bipedal robots used in the Avatar film.

Daily Mail reported that Bezos is among a handful people to have tested the $200 million worth Method-2 robot that was unveiled in Gunpo South Korea in 2016. The robot is the first-of-its-kind that allows humans to control its movement from inside it with their bodies.
The video posted by a certain Caleb Harber on Twitter shows Bezos waving around the robot's arms and asking the crowd: "Why do I feel so much like Sigourney Weaver?"
Chains support the top of the robot while its legs remained stationery throughout the stunt. It is capable of walking, but designers are still finding ways to improve its leg function. Each of its arms weighs 286 lbs.
The Verge also said that there are also unsubstantiated reports of Bezos telling the crowd to "bow down before your new king and master Metal Jeff."
The Method-2 robot, which weighs 1.6 tonnes, was built by a South Korean firm, Hankook Mirae,
In a Twitter post on Monday, Bezos also excitedly shared his experience with the Method 2-robot, saying: "I just got to pilot an awesome (and huge) robot thanks to Hankook Mirae Technology. Nice!"
It remains unclear where and how the robot will be used. It will, however, be ready for sale at the end of this year.
