Yooka-Laylee - Multiplayer Reveal Trailer
Playtonic Games' "Yooka Laylee" is coming to the PS4 console and fans can't get more excited with its file size. The game's PS4 version only needs a total of 2.9GB in space and players can enjoy the game without occupying too much memory in the system. Apparently, the impressive file size is a plus to those who have been waiting for the game to arrive on the platform.

The average file size of a triple A game normally hits 40-50GB in size. If it's really massive, it can get past the 50GB size. So for "Yooka Laylee" to arrive with such a small file size, it's a milestone for players. Take note however that the game may have a different file size in other platforms, but it will not stray far from the PS4's file size.
According to the GamingBolt, "Yooka Laylee" was primarily scheduled for the Wii U platform, but a decision was finally made scrapping the game from the Wii U platform and getting ready to enlist it for the Nintendo Switch platform. The game is expected to launch on April 11 on the PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
Meanwhile, you can also check the latest "Yooka Laylee" trailer launched on the YouTube channel. Players can start pre ordering the game and for the non Kickstarter backers of the game, prices range from £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99 in all formats worldwide. In December, the official website of the "Yooka Laylee" game stated that an extra bonus awaits players who will pre order the game on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
The said bonus come in the form of the "Yooka Laylee" ToyBox that players can immediately unlock. The ToyBox contain the platforming mechanics that will be available in the game.
