A message from Xbox Live would also read: There was a problem. We couldn't sign you in. Try again in a few minutes, or check your account by signing into account.live.com."

According to Daily Mail, Independent Down Detector which provides a real-time overview of issues and outages with all kinds of services had received almost 10,000 reports.

On its Twitter account, Microsoft confirmed the issues while adding that their engineers and developers are "actively continuing to work to resolve the issue causing some members to have problems finding previously-purchased content or purchasing new content, it did not offer explanation for the outage, however.
