Finalized iOS 10.2 Jailbreak Remains Unreleased as 32-bit iPhones, iPads Gain Fresh Route to Jailbreaking?
While the jailbreak community still waits for the finalized Yalu102 JB tool from Luca Todesco another dev thankfully provided an updated version of the Home Depot jailbreak solution. The latest bump paved the way for the cracked iOS to work on versions 9.1 to 9.3.4.
Home Depot by jk9357 jumped this week to Release Candidate 2 or RC 2 and it appears that the most important change is the tool now supports all 32-bit devices, provided they have iOS 9.1 to 9.3.4 installed. According to iDownloadBlog.com, jk9357 initially released RC 1 as update to the jailbreak but decided to immediately provided RC 2 to correct an installation issue with Cydia.

The tool, like the other jailbreak solutions created by Todesco and Team Pangu, remains in beta status but iDB said RC 2 is more usable and reliable than the earlier releases. "It includes working Cydia, Cydia Substrate, and all the other expected features of a full jailbreak," the report said.
And Home Depot is certainly a notch better than the Pangu jailbreak tool in terms of coverage. As indicated above, jk9357's work supports iOS 9.1 to 9.3.4 while the solution from the Chinese hacking can only be used on iPhones and iPads running versions 9.2 to 9.3.3.
But to be clear, iPhone and iPad users already on iOS 9.3.5 are locked out from the jailbreak as iDB said there is no plan on jk9357's part to make the solution compatible with the iOS version. The same applies for those who made the jump to iOS 10 and later iterations - jk9357 has shown no interest to tweak the jailbreak to run on iOS 10.
Likewise, Home Depot becoming useful to 64-bit iOS devices is not on the horizon, the report added.
To get the jailbreak, head to the site jk9357 has put up and simply follow the instructions included. Take note that Home Depot RC 2 requires Cydia Impactor for side-loading and re-installation is also required every week. Just like Pangu and Yalu102 jailbreaks, RC 2 is yet to resolve the 7-day signing issue.
Another similarity with the Pangu and Yalu solutions is that Home Depot is semi-tethered, meaning re-jailbreak will need to take place every device reboot. No word from jk9357 if later updates will eventually make Home Depot an untethered JB tool, iDB said.
