Nintendo confirmed that the Jo-Con glitch might have been caused by "manufacturing variation" wherein, wireless interference happened to selected Switch Joy-Con hardware. The company has hand assured its consumers that the problem has been fixed.
Meanwhile, Nintendo also confirmed that it is working on fixing the Joy-Con problem at its factory level, meaning there's less chance if none at all, that the problem will recur. The Joy-Con was first reported when the left controller, in particular, failed to connect or function especially when there is a physical disturbance blocking it. The right controller, on the other hand, did not record such problems.
The glitch made it impossible for fans to properly use the Nintendo Switch. Hence, they were shipped back to the company for repair.
The Nintendo Switch sold more than 1.5 million units in its first two weeks on the market. The company hopes to double the figure by the end of March. Meanwhile, some classic games are scheduled to arrive on the Switch, but for now "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" remains its number one title. As a classic game entry, the Nintendo Switch is set to get "The Secret of Mana" game soon.
