The latest updates for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature a possible side story for Ardyn Izunia and new game modes in Episode Gladiolus.

Square Enix revealed new details for the first DLC episode of "Final Fantasy XV" as Episode Gladiolus will feature two new game modes called "Score Attack" and "Final Trial," and they will be available after the players finish the story.

These two game modes offer an added challenge and high replay value for players both new and old to "Final Fantasy XV." In addition, Episode Gladiolus will have a different battle system designed for the character as Gladiolus fights using blocking and counter attacks with the "Valor" and "Rage" system.

Episode Gladiolus will feature a new area not featured in the main story for players to explore and items from the episode can be transferred to "Final Fantasy XV" upon completion of the episode. Episode Gladiolus will be available on March 28 at a price of $4.99 or $24.99 if players have the season pass, Gematsu reported.

In other news, it seems that Square Enix could be teasing a fourth DLC episode of "Final Fantasy XV" after the three main episodes soon.

Reddit username Boronkee shared an Italian website that featured an interview with "Final Fantasy XV" director Hajime Tabata as he talked about the future DLCs of the sequel.

Tabata stated that nothing in the game has been cut at the story but admitted that there are a few elements that were not included in the game. Instead, they plan to introduce these scenarios as add-ons. Since the main game told the overall narrative from Noctis' perspective, they are adding new stories revealing the side of his friends. Following this, he hopes to make a side story from Ardyn Izunia's point of view.

Ardyn is the main antagonist of Noctis in "Final Fantasy XV" and handles the Niflheim Empire's political operations for Emperor Iedolas Aldercapt. It also revealed that he was once chosen as the next King but has fallen in grace when the astrals saw him as unclean and he was demonized by his people.

"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
