Microsoft has officially rolled out the lineup of Xbox Games with Gold free games coming next month. As usual, four new titles will be available for download starting April 1 up to April 30, with two games released for Xbox One and the other two for Xbox 360.

Now that March is almost over, Xbox Live Gold members are again entitled to four games. Two for each of Microsoft's consoles will be offered for free in the month of April as a monthly privilege of Xbox Games with Gold subscription.

Xbox One Games

Starting April 1 until April 30, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can download the "Ryse: Son of Rome" for free and save $19.99. This third-person hack and slash game allows players can take on the role of Roman soldier Marius Titus who exacts revenge for the murder of his family and fights to save the Roman Empire.

On April 16 up to May 15, "The Walking Dead: Season 2", which sells at a regular price of $24.99 is next to download as one of the Xbox Games with Gold April 2017 free games. The sequel to the five-part horror game series enables players to meet survivors, discover new areas and come up with ghastly decisions in this zombie apocalypse narrative. 

Xbox 360 Games 

Xbox Live God members on Xbox 360 can enjoy "Darksiders" for free beginning April 1 up to April 15 and save $19.99. Gamers will wield War's sword and look for answers in this epic RPG. War returns to post-apocalyptic Earth to find out who's responsible and fights demons and angels to clear his name.    

Then from April 16 up to April 30, "Assassin's Creed Revelations," which is sold at a regular price of $19.99 will be next to download for free in the second half of the month. In this huge Ubisoft title, players will follow the story of Renaissance assassin Ezio Auditore who gets to explore Constantinople, Cappadocia and other places as he unravels the secrets of the master assassin. 

It is noted that these two titles for Xbox 360 will also be playable on Xbox One through the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program. Hence, Xbox One owners get to avail of all of the four games in Xbox Games with Gold free games for April 2017.
