Bioware's "Mass Effect: Andromeda" took the centerstage with its big launch, but it is the game's take on its female characters that is making the headlines.
According to The Sun, several fans of the game took to Twitter their disappointment about the female characters.

In a twitter post by Terak (@terak404), the user compared the actress Jayde Ross to the character she portrays on "Mass Effect: Andromeda." Apparently, there is a significant difference in their likeness. The character of Steven Brewis, on the other hand, represents more of the physical characters of the actor.
There is no clear reason why Bioware chose to make the women in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" less attractive and the developer/publisher is yet to release a statement regarding the issue. Fans on Twitter have tagged the designs as "horrific" largely because they are nothing like the real actress that portrayed the character.
Meanwhile, the ESRB has rated the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" as M for mature content. The rating summary mentioned some brief sexual encounter in the game as well as characters developing relationship with the other crews. Additionally, the M rating is also brought by the fact that the game includes hip gyrations, sensual caresses, and sexual moaning.
Meanwhile, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" also features enough bloody battle to be considered under the M rating. "Battles are frenetic, highlighted by realistic gunfire, explosions, and screams of pain; enemies sometimes emit splashes of blood when hit," the statement added. Bioware released the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" on March 21 and is also available on the Xbox One, PS4 and Microsoft Windows.
