Rumors about "Death Stranding" suggests that Emma Stone could be part of the cast. An image of the "La La Land" star is circulating over the internet.
The still image, which is rumored to have been leaked, is supposedly a part of a presentation for E3 in June. Hideo Kojima had teased in September last year that a female protagonist will be joining Norman Reedus.

Additionally, Kojima had tweeted many times about Stone and mostly about the movie, "La La Land." When Mads was asked about Emma Stone's involvement in the project, he neither denied nor confirmed the rumor.
Mikkelsen, who is another character in "Death Stranding," said that he cannot talk about it. But he added that he "really like that rumor." He teasingly said, "[It's] a lovely rumor." For now, it is still not certain if there is some truth to this rumor and no one knows where the image came from.
"Death Stranding" is an upcoming open-world action game from the creator of the "Metal Gear Solid."
In an interview with Hideo Kojima at RTX Sydney in February, he said that it would be an action game and an open world game that will give players more freedom. They will have the freedom to do whatever they want to do like taking the role of a fighter or getting on vehicles.
The game will offer players other ways to play this game, and it will be different from what most people expect from an online game. Kojima also mentioned the "strands" concept in the game and fans are hoping that this idea will be soon seen in a gameplay trailer.
"Death Stranding" is expected to be released next year on PS4 and there are reports that it may also arrive on PC. The latest trailer of the project debuted at The Game Awards in December 2016.
