The DJI Mavic Pro is one of the most recommended drones on the market. Although it is technically a product of last year, it still tops the lists of many UAV enthusiasts this 2017. The DJI Mavic Pro is priced at $999 and is now listed with a one-day shipment time.
The Mavic was widely criticized when it was first released last year due to the alleged shortage of supply. During the first months of the Mavic Pro's release, DJI reportedly failed to deliver orders on time. This caused chaos in the drone community, leading to constant ranting in DJI forums. Nevertheless, the company was able to fix the problem and has now made the Mavic Pro instantly available.

Right now, DJI lists the Mavic drone with a delivery time of one day. Specifically, DJI's listing says that buyers can get free delivery and professional training as soon as today. This is applicable to both the Mavic Pro and the Mavic Pro Fly More Combo deals.
As far as technicalities are concerned, the Mavic is one of the smartest drones in the market. It has four vision sensors, FlightAutonomy system and different modes of flying. The DJI Mavic Pro has the ActiveTrack technology that allows it follow a subject in different manners - Trace, Profile, and Spotlight. The Mavic's Trace mode is for following a subject behind, in front or in a circle. The Profile mode, on the other hand, is for flying "alongside" a subject and the Spotlight mode is for keeping the camera focused on the subject while the drone flies in different directions.
On top of the intelligent drone modes that DJI's drone has, it also has a travel-friendly design. The Mavic comes with foldable legs and a compact body, making it lighter and easier-to-store than its higher-end siblings. Nevertheless, interested buyers should keep in mind that the Mavic requires FAA registration, according to BGR.
The DJI Mavic Pro comes with a 12 MP camera with 4K video recording. Its body is made up of a 3-axis Gimbal, and it can fly for 27 minutes. Additionally, the Mavic Pro's control range is 7 km and its speed is 65 kmh.
