Studio Wildcard is releasing a new patch for "Ark: Survival Evolved" this coming Thursday, March 30. The game developer said that the latest update will be adding real game changer features to the survival video game.

Patch v256 for "Ark: Survival Evolved" will bring new features including a breeding for aquatic and amphibious creatures. It also includes total inventory menu redesign, new structures and new dinosaurs.

The game's lead designer Jeremy Stieglitz revealed via Twitter an image of the new inventory menu. It showed a number of new functionality, right-click contextual menus,  and improved organization for remote inventories. 

"It's happening! ARK v256 will have the first major menu redesign of ARK, as the Inventory UI getting a complete visual & functional overhaul," tweeted Stieglitz.

There are also four new dinos arriving with the patch. Iguanodon is technically the only dinosaur, next is Ichthyornis that is a seabird, third is Equus which is a prehistoric horse and the fourth one is Leedsichthys, a giant fish.

Stieglitz also noted that the patch will add real game changers features such as aquatic and amphibious creature breeding and underwater bases. New structures will also arrive via Patch v256 for "Ark: Survival Evolved" such as TEK Teleporter, TEK Mosa Saddle and Tek Power Generator.

There will be a new Flyer Nerf, 1 new hairstyle and 1 new facial hairstyle for the male and female variants and more than twenty  new Explorer Notes. The patch will also bring new TEK Cave and Cyclical Active Volcano and new structure called Dynamic-Length Bridges.

There are also additional gear, weapons and armors but the developer did not mention further about these. The full patch notes for update v256 can be accessed via Steam webpage here. 

The current patch version is v255, which expands on the features that were added in update v254. It also featured four new dinosaurs such as Electrophorus, Microraptor, Ammonite and Thylacoleo.
