Galaxy S8 will be the first widely available smartphone with Bluetooth 5.0. (YouTube)
Everyone seems to be blown away by the Samsung Galaxy S8, and people just cannot stop talking about its new features like the larger screen, Bixby, and face recognition. But there are three killer features that almost no one is talking about, yet.
First up, BGR said that Galaxy S8 will be the first widely available smartphone with Bluetooth 5.0. This technology is capable of supporting two simultaneous independent streams. That means, with this new tool, you can play a video and stream to two separate pairs of Bluetooth headphones at the same time

Bluetooth 5.0 is also said to be more power-efficient and has four times the range.
Secondly, BGR said that the Galaxy S8 will be the first phone capable of gigabit LTE speeds. This feature is attributed to Samsung's use of Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 chip and Exynos 9 Series 8895 chip. Both chipsets are capable of gigabit speeds.
A video below shows off the Galaxy S8 hitting some seriously fast speeds in a test.
Lastly, Mashable reported that a built-in GIF maker is also worth mentioning. Unfortunately, it is something that Samsung didn't bother to mention during its launch event on Wednesday, March 29.
What makes the Galaxy S8's built-in GIF maker unique from the Smart Select GIF maker that first appeared on Galaxy Note 7 is its ability to convert a section of any video, even self-recorded videos, into an animated GIF.
Moreover, it does not require you to select a specific area on the screen to capture manually. All you need to do is select the section of the video you want to convert. You may also adjust the speed of the GIF in the settings menu.
The tool is located within the Gallery app's video section of the Samsung Galaxy S8.
