Babies can bring joy to families. But when they start to cry, the point of view seems to change. Researchers have conducted a study to determine which countries have babies that cry the most. Also, reasons why those behaviors happen were also observed.
According to Reuters, babies born in countries like Canada, Italy, Britain, and Netherlands have greater chances of crying in comparison to other countries. On the other hand, Denmark, Germany, and Japan are the most fortunate as the study concludes that babies from these countries are less likely to cry than others.

The researchers reached their conclusion by analyzing how often the infants cry around the world in the first three months of their existence. Several charts were created showing the normal and ideal amount of crying during a specific period of a baby's life.
The highest number of crying babies with colic was found existing in Britain, Canada, and Italy.
"Babies are already very different in how much they cry in the first weeks of life," researcher Dieter Wolker said. "We may learn more from looking at cultures where there is less crying -- (including) whether this may be due to parenting or other factors relating to pregnancy experiences or genetics."
According to Yahoo, the study showed that the colic rates in Canada were 34.1 percent. This is way higher compare to the colic rate observed in Denmark, which is 5.5 percent only.
On the other hand, the researchers concluded that babies cry for two hours a day in their first two weeks of their existence. Then, these hours vary as infants grow old.
