After Xbox head Phil Spencer introduced the first screenshots of the "Phantom Dust" remaster on twitter, fans are skeptical whether the game will have a different fate as its original version. Apparently, the original version didn't have much luck on the Xbox One console and while it seem like big task to produce a remaster, it's the best chance the game have to mark a post on the Xbox One console.

At the E3 2016, Microsoft introduced the "Phantom Dust" remaster, hoping to give Xbox One players better gaming experience. According to IGN, Spencer clarified what was featured on the first screenshot of the "Phantom Dust" indicating a 30FPS rate. He said, this could vary depending on the platform and for this particular shot, it is being played on a regular Xbox One console.

Take note that the upcoming "Phantom Dust" remaster is different from the remake that was previously announced at the E3 2014. IGN said that the remake was canceled after Dark Side Game studio, the developer behind the "Phantom Dust" remake closed down in 2015. Understandably, the game could get a much better rendering if played on Project Scorpio.

Meanwhile, according to Gamespot, the "Phantom Dust" remaster has not landed a specific release date, but Spencer confirmed, it will be featured in the upcoming E3 2017 event. Games in this event usually have the full details including prices, release date, specs and more. Interestingly, the game is part of the Xbox Play Anywhere wherein, it is readily available on the Xbox One and PC. All progression on either platform will be carried on to the other.
